"Military Boekelo-Enschede with 60.000 visitors per year is one of the largest outdoor sporting events in the Netherlands. In the beautiful countryside surrounding the village of Boekelo, the 6-kilometer long cross country courses are designed by London Olympic course designer Sue Benson. About 1.500 volunteers and employees help to make this fantastic event possible. Each year Military Boekelo-Enschede attracts about 30 Olympic participants. In the last decade, Military Boekelo-Enschede has been chosen as the world's best Eventing Competition by it's participants on five occasions. During the week of the Military more than thirty conferences and symposia are organised for more than 4.000 participants.
